What is GDG on Campus(GDGoC)?

GDGoC (Google Developer Groups on Campus) is a university-based student developer club affiliated with Google. The club focuses on studying Web, App, and AI/ML technologies while exploring solutions to societal challenges 🔎.

GDGoC GIST has organized a variety of activities so far, including the GDSC X GIST Hackathon, study groups and projects, development-related sessions, and collaborative events with other university GDSC chapters. The Lead and Core team plan and manage all these events.

Members can participate in all organized events, share diverse experiences, and enhance their development skills through these activities.

😎 What Do Members Do?

GDGoC GIST 25-1 Members participate in various activities such as study groups, projects, dev-seminar sessions, and the Google Solution Challenge, all organized by the Lead and Core teams.

GDGoC GIST 24-25 Activity Goals (The Goals)

  1. Pursue an environment where everyone can enjoy and participate in the development process, regardless of major, age, race, or language.
  2. Encourage curiosity and enthusiasm for self-directed learning
  3. Create a comfortable and natural atmosphere for asking questions and sharing knowledge
  4. Organize a community where people with diverse interests can easily come together and collaborate
  5. Build a sustainable GDGoC GIST community

These activity goals are the rules that GDG on Campus GIST members are expected to follow. All activities run by the Lead and Core teams are conducted in a participatory and supportive environment, regardless of major, class, age, race, or development skills. Anyone who is comfortable asking questions about things they don't know, sharing their knowledge freely, and building their development skills can become a member!
